About

Tayler is a Registered Play Therapist™ and has a heart for assisting children through emotional and behavioral difficulties, anxiety, family change, and trauma. She has experience working in an autism specific clinic and assisting families with challenges related to navigating their child’s diagnosis. Tayler has  worked as a Duval County school therapist and provided intervention at both a classroom and individual level, and as an advocate for children experiencing foster care. Tayler has specialized training in treating anxiety and OCD. She believes that including the family in the therapeutic process is the best way to make meaningful change.

Tayler received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in clinical social work from the Florida State University in 2014 and 2015. Tayler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Florida and Texas and is a qualified supervisor for both social work interns and therapists aspiring to be Registered Play Therapists. 

 

 

Tayler currently serves as The Healing Playroom’s Clinical Director. She hopes to pass on her passion and experience to the next generation of play therapists.

In her free playtime, Tayler likes to walk her two dachshunds, host board game nights with friends, and cheer for the Florida State Seminoles.
