About

Kourtney Baker is a compassionate and dedicated therapist with a focus on helping children and adolescents overcome challenges and reach their full potential. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida in 2018. Following graduation, Kourtney became a Registered Behavior Technician, working closely with young children on the Autism Spectrum to help them navigate behavioral challenges. This role, along with her work with families, inspired her to pursue further studies, leading to a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida and a Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy from Jacksonville University.

Kourtney is a Licensed Mental Healh Counselor in the State of Florida and a Registered Play Therapist™. She brings valuable experience in supporting children with developmental disabilities and a range of mental health concerns. She is deeply committed to her clients, providing patient, empathetic, and compassionate care that meets each child where they are.

Kourtney’s experience spans community mental health settings and the Full Service School Program in Duval County, where she has supported children, adolescents, and families dealing with trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem issues, and behavioral challenges.
