About

Chandré Pryor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a strong commitment to supporting children, adolescents, and families through life’s challenges. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in African American Studies from Valdosta State University in 2018. She also pursued independent research abroad, exploring the quality and culture of mental health care.

Chandré went on to complete her Master’s in Social Work at Valdosta State University and has since gained valuable experience working with children with various exceptionalities and social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. She has provided therapeutic care in diverse settings, including schools, community centers, and homes. Most recently, she served elementary-aged students in Duval County Public Schools, offering counseling services that supported resilience and growth.

Chandré is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trust-Based Relational Intervention. She received a Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy at Jacksonville University. She is currently working towards her Registered Play Therapist credential. Her therapeutic philosophy is inspired by Karyn Purvis’s insight, “behavior is the language of unmet needs,” and she believes that play is a natural way for children to express themselves and connect with others. Through her work, she equips children, teens and families with tools to build healthy relationships grounded in safety, connection, and mutual understanding.

Spends her free playtime reading, doing aerial yoga, crafting, and practicing pilates.

Chandré is available at our Ponte Vedra Beach location.
